The project for the extension of the Sorolla Museum in Madrid had the difficulty of intervening in the painter’s house, providing it with new exhibition rooms for his work. As is often the case, we participated with Nieto Sobejano and were lucky enough to help them win first prize. Our aim was to make very neutral images that would cause minimum impact.
We are looking for a vernacular space that transmits the serenity of Sorolla's work.
