This is a very special project for us. Fran was born in Cartagena and grew up with the construction of the Museum or Sea Archeology of Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra. One of his aims, since he began to study architecture, was getting to know Guillermo and maybe one day collaborates with him. We began our collaboration some years ago with a surprising call for the competition of LIMA MALI museum. This time we could spend more time than usual and, as the project is executing at the moment, take care of many details that had already been decided. For us is always inspiring and challenging working with Guillermo.
We are doing a very measured, needed operation, focused in the exactitude and precision. We will solve functional problems and impregnate the building with contemporary elements.
