Working with Gutiérrez De La Fuente is a luxury in many ways. Besides being very good architects with very clear concepts, they are extremely professional and organised. In this case we had to build a library and the treatment of the brick was very important. It was a bit complicated for us to take a wide-angle photo that didn’t generate too much distortion in the volumetry of the building. We were not lucky in this competition but we are convinced that we will have many successes with them in the future.
We want to return to an architecture without artifice, where light and materials are the protagonists of the proposal.
